Ministers Monday Moment - What to say?

There's a number of reasons why this week's MMM is late. One of them is that until the last 10 minutes I didn't know what to say! I have started this a few times but haven't been able to finish it because my train of thought just didn't seem to go anywhere - I'd lose my way, or just not know where to go next.

But perhaps that is this week's reflection. How often have you not known what to pray or how to pray? You know you need to but the words just don't seem to come. What do we do in those situations? Well what we don't do is not pray. God has it covered - Romans 8:26 (NLT) "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words."

So in those times when you don't know how to pray, pause, be quiet and let the Holy Spirit speak to God for you (and let God speak to you).

Have a blessed week

Peter
