Ministers Monday Moment - Taking steps

Being a notetaker for students with disabilities at MIT brings many joys and opportunities. Today I'm working with a hearing impaired student who is starting her New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL). She is one of 11 students from 7 different countries in Asia and the Pacific who are taking steps to improve their written English. Some students have only been in NZ for 2 weeks, whilst others have been here for longer. All have two things in common - they want to improve their English skills and they have taken steps to do that.

What do you need to learn? What do you want to learn? What do you want to change? How do you want you life to change?

Do you know the steps you need to take? If you do what's stopping your from taking them? If you don't know the steps to take, how can you find out?

Every journey begins by taking the first step.

Blessings for the week ahead

Peter
